The heaviest rainfall in the Valley was in the Cave Creek and Carefree areas, where nearly ¾ of an inch was recorded at one gauge. Sky Harbor Airport received 0.28 inches.

The North Phoenix totals were similar to a Feb. 15 storm, leaving the month well below the normal of 1.24 inches of precipitation at Deer Valley Airport, all amid a 21-year statewide drought.

Today will remain cool, with some clouds and an expected high of 58 degrees. Tomorrow is expected to be partly to mostly sunny and 65.
