Gladys is a one-year-old black and tan chihuahua. She was found wondering the desert off of carefree highway. This little girl is your ultimate tiny companion. Gladys is funny, loves to play and chase your hand under the covers (saving you from play mice).
She loves her puppy bed and listens to commands like, “go to your puppy bed,” she can also sit and shake. She is potty trained and will tell you when she must go potty. She faces down the biggest dogs without fear and seems indifferent to cats. The best snuggler, she lays on your side or legs for naps and will tunnel under the covers in bed. Her expressions are priceless.
Gladys does not like strangers and will bark a lot. She does take some time to warm up to new people, so patience will be needed for the first few days. Then, once she trusts you, you will have the best little dog ever. Gladys has a condition called cherry eye. This does not need treatment and is caused by the second eyelid being swollen.
