Anthem Residents: Re-Register Now & Avoid the Rush

Anthem residents who use the community center should re-register before the end of April, Anthem Community Council advises. On May 1, a new system will require new account information, and anyone trying to get in will have to provide the new membership information in person before they can enter.

Residents can complete the new form here (scroll to bottom of page) or in person at the community center or civic building.

Those who register in advance will still need to have a new photo taken, which can be done now at the Community Center or Civic Building. They’ll also have to pick up a new access card (if they don’t have one) or have their current green tag barcodes updated in the new system on or after Tuesday, May 1, which means there could be lines during busy periods for all residents — those who pre-registered and those who didn’t.

One family member can fill out the form for other family members, too. The entire process online takes less than five minutes for a family of four.

The new system, called CivicRec, will provide greater visibility into activities and reservations, ACC said in a statement. “Registering online for programs, classes, sports, rec leagues and events, and renting ramadas and other facilities, will be easier than ever.”

“The CivicRec solution is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for residents to use,” said Taylor McCulley, Civic Building programs manager. “It is mobile-friendly and integrates directly into our new website for a seamless user experience.”

Also, ACC tweeted this note: “Online registration for activities/sports has been disabled on our website as we prepare to transfer to new software May 1. Please delete any shortcuts/bookmarks you have saved. Until May 1, register at the Comm. Center or Civic Bldg. front desks.”

This article was updated April 27 to include additional information about the process.
