DVUSD High School Graduation Information
For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.
DVUSD — 2017 GRADUATION CEREMONY DATES, University of Phoenix Stadium.
MAY 19, 2017 FRIDAY:
- Sandra Day O’Connor @ 2:00 p.m.
- Deer Valley @ 4:30 p.m.
**NOTE: O’Connor and Deer Valley will have an early release day on May 19.
MAY 22, 2017 MONDAY
- Boulder Creek @ 2:00 p.m.
- Mountain Ridge @ 4:30 p.m.
- Barry Goldwater @ 7:00 p.m.
**NOTE: Boulder Creek, Mt. Ridge, and Barry Goldwater will have an early release day on May 22.
Graduation Information:
- NO TICKETS WILL BE issued this year. Graduates may invite as many guests as they would like.
- Seniors are provided a senior countdown of events at a winter meeting in January or February.
- A mailer to parents is sent out the end of March with all pertinent graduation information included.
- A spring senior meeting is held at each school reviewing the graduation ceremony. Seniors do not go to the stadium to rehearse.
- Senior exams are scheduled for May 15-16, 2017 (DVHS & SDOHS) and May 16-17, 2017 (BGHS, BCHS & MRHS)
- Seniors come to senior checkout on May 17, 2017 (DVHS & SDOHS) or May 18, 2017, (BGHS, BCHS & MRHS) and will receive their cap and gown and parking map to the stadium at that time. (NOTE: This is subject to change.)
