New Shop Sells Bikes, Scooters & Skateboards

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

Co-owners Michael Morgan and Cole Knapp recognized the lack of a bike shop in Anthem, so they opened Freedom Cycles earlier this month. They sell Cannondale, Fuji, SE, Breezer and Kestrel bikes—everything from mountain bikes to cruisers—and there’s a full-service repair shop.

You’ll also find scooters and skateboards. How’d the Oct. 6 grand opening go? “We blew through $140 of pizza in the first 10 minutes,” Morgan said.
