Drivers on Interstate 17 near Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads will experience restrictions and possible delays during overnight hours beginning Sunday, July 21, ADOT announced. The restrictions are part of the project to build new overpasses at both sites.
Northbound I-17 will have a single right-lane closure at Happy Valley Road from 10 p.m. Sunday, July 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22; from 10 p.m. Monday, July 22, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 23; and again from 10 p.m. Thursday, July 25, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 26.
Southbound I-17 will have a double right lane closure between Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads from 10 p.m. Sunday, July 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22.
Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane only between Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads from 10 p.m. Monday, July 22, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 23.
Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane only between Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads from 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 24; and from 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 25.
