New Art Show in Anthem Celebrates Arizona

The latest installation of Art in Public Places is viewable now at the Anthem Civic Building during regular business hours. The theme, “Celebrate Arizona,” features a unique look at the state through landscapes, wildlife, points of interest, landmarks, said Kristi Northcutt, spokesperson for Anthem Community Council.

The show opens officially Saturday, Oct. 14, when from 9:30-11:30 a.m., the space hosts Java and Jammin’ with Skylin Flores signing and playing the ukulele. Free coffee and treats for residents and their guests.

There are more than 75 works of art in the juried show, from more than 20 artists.
