NoPho Home Sales Still Outpace U.S. Trend

Sales of existing homes across NoPho, the I-17 corridor from Norterra to New River, were a mixed bag in February, offering no clear signs as to the market’s direction.

While year-over-year sales climbed significantly in two zones, it fell notably in two others. Total sales across all five zones was down slightly from 120 last February to 118 this year. Anthem Parkside’s sluggish sales likely reflect, at least in part, the lack of homes on the market and resulting, ongoing tight inventory.

Regardless, overall NoPho sales continue to buck the national trend. Total U.S. sales of existing homes was down 8.5 percent year-over-year in January, the most recent month reported by the National Association of Realtors.
