Ceremony to Honor Vietnam Vets Thursday

DAISY MOUNTAIN VETERANS – During our 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Medal ceremony last April, the Daisy Mountain Veterans (DMV) presented commemorative lapel pins to members who served in Vietnam. We have since learned that ANY veterans who served honorably between 1959 and 1975 (Vietnam Era) are eligible to receive this pin. They do not have to be members of our organization.

On Thursday, September 14, 2017, we will present lapel pins to a group of Vietnam Era veterans during the quarterly meeting of the DMV at post headquarters in Anthem beginning at 6:30 p.m. The post is located on the second floor of the Anthem Civic Building at the intersection of Anthem Way and N. Venture Drive. Your attendance is requested in order to recognize the contributions of these veterans.

Any eligible veteran in the local community may apply to receive one of these pins by contacting:

We look forward to having you join us on September 14 in Anthem.
