Grocery Stores

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

Many gas stations and pharmacies in the region sell groceries, but here are the full-service grocers (supermarkets) in North Phoenix:

Albertsons in Tramonto

Remodeled in 2016, this Albertsons store is a full-service grocer.

Fry’s Marketplace on Dove Valley Road

One of Fry's largest supermarkets, at about 120,000 square feet, this location opened in 2017. The grocery, in the Canyon Crossroads plaza, serves many North Phoenix communities from Tramonto to Norterra.

Fry’s Signature in Anthem

A full-service grocer in the Anthem Crossroads Plaza has an in-store Starbucks and a wine bar with craft beers. Also offers ClickList service: Order groceries online and pick up at the ClickList parking space where an associate will deliver your order.

Safeway in Anthem
