MCSO Reports Case of COVID-19 at HQ

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

MCSO — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has been notified that one of our employees who works out of the Headquarters Building located at 550 W. Jackson St. in Phoenix, has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus is thought to spread mainly between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet) through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. MCSO is currently working with employees who have been identified as potential close contacts and may have been exposed to the virus.

The Headquarters Building will be deep cleaned and sanitized to ensure the safety of our employees during this coronavirus outbreak and full access will resume on Monday, March 30th
