Ding, Ding! Local Salvation Army Seeks Volunteers

Volunteer bell ringers—individuals, couples, families or groups—are needed for the annual Red Kettle Campaign from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Time slots are open on Fridays and Saturdays at four locations: Walmart-Anthem, Fry’s in Anthem and on Dove Valley Road, and Safeway in Anthem.

Anthem Threatens Litigation over New River-Desert Hills Incorporation Effort

After attempts to reach what it called a neighborly solution, Anthem Community Council today sent a letter to the four leaders of the New River-Desert Hills Incorporation Committee, threatening litigation if the committee refuses to remove the sections of Anthem that are in its proposed incorporation map.
