Before You Deck it Out, Know Anthem’s Decoration Rules

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

Festive Anthem residents may be wondering when can wreaths, lights, yard art and inflatables go up. So here’s the deal:

After Halloween, Country Club residents have until Nov. 7, and Parkside residents have until Nov. 12 to let those spooky statues R.I.P.  and transition to Turkey Day yard trimmings. Nov. 1 then marks the transition to winter holiday decorations.

Holiday decor is permitted to be displayed until Jan. 15 in Parkside neighborhoods and Jan. 31 in Country Club.

The Village at Anthem has a general rule that decorations (lights only) may be installed 30 days prior to the holiday and must be removed within 15 days after the holiday, with Jan. 15 being the final date.

Detailed lists of rules and regulations for holiday decor can be found on each HOA’s document center online.

Editor’s Note: This article has been corrected to include the correct date when the display of winter decorations can begin. It is Nov. 1, not Dec. 1.
