I-17 Closures This Weekend
For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.
ADOT plans some mild inconvenience for drivers while crews set girders for the second span of the new Pinnacle Peak Road bridge over the interstate. Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed at I-17 in both directions during the work, but the on- and off-ramps will be open as a detour. Alternatively, drivers can use 19th Avenue between Jomax and Deer Valley roads, ADOT suggested.
Southbound I-17 will close at Pinnacle Peak Road from 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, to 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25.
Northbound I-17 will close at Pinnacle Peak Road from 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 to 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.
