DVUSD Plans Open House for Parents of New Kindergartners
For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.
All Deer Valley Unified School District K–6 and K–8 schools will host an open house for parents of students planning to attend kindergarten this fall. Meet the teachers, tour classrooms and learn about the curriculum and registration information.
Eligible children must be 5 years old by Aug. 31, but kids who turn 5 between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31 can be tested for early entry. Open enrollment at any DVUSD school is available to any family living in Arizona, if space allows at the school of choice.
