I-17 Lane Restrictions, New River to Black Canyon City, Sept. 16-19

But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May. 


Interstate 17 will be reduced to one lane during various nighttime hours this week as crews put a protective sealant on the roadway, ADOT announced. All activity will occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Here are the details:

Monday, Sept. 16:

  • Northbound narrowed to one lane (right lane closed) at New River between mileposts 232 and 239.
  • Southbound narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) near New River between mileposts 239 and 232.

Tuesday, Sept. 17:

  • Northbound narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) at New River between mileposts 232 and 239.
  • Southboundnarrowed to one lane (right lane closed) near New River between mileposts 239 and 232.

Wednesday, Sept. 18:

  • Northbound narrowed to one lane (right lane closed) near Black Canyon City between mileposts 239 and 245.
  • Southbound narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) at Black Canyon City between mileposts 245 and 239.

Thursday, Sept. 19:

  • Northbound narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) near Black Canyon City between mileposts 239 and 245.
  • Southbound narrowed to one lane (right lane closed) at Black Canyon City between mileposts 245 and 239.
