Repaving Will Cause I-17 Delays Near Anthem Sept. 5-7

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

Crews will be repaving I-17 and on-ramps and offramps around Daisy Mountain Drive and Pioneer Road exits Thursday through Saturday, forcing lane restrictions and ramp closures, ADOT announced.

The northbound I-17 on- and off-ramps at Daisy Mountain Drive will be closed from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. Detours: Drivers in Anthem can use Gavilan Peak Parkway to Pioneer Road or Anthem Way to access I-17. Drivers on northbound I-17 can exit at Pioneer Road to northbound Gavilan Peak Parkway to Daisy Mountain Drive.

Southbound I-17 will be restricted to one lane from Daisy Mountain Drive to Pioneer Road from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7.

The southbound I-17 on-ramp at Daisy Mountain Drive will be closed from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7. Detours: Drivers in Anthem should use southbound Gavilan Peak Parkway to Pioneer Road to access I-17.

The southbound I-17 off-ramp at Pioneer Road will be closed from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7. Detours: Drivers on southbound I-17 can exit at Daisy Mountain Drive and use southbound Gavilan Peak Parkway to Pioneer Road.
