Rain & Fog Here, Snow Up There
A storm rolling through Arizona overnight brought between 1/4 and 1/3 of an inch of rain to North Phoenix, with fog in the predawn hours on I-17 near Anthem, and snow to the high country.
Rainfall totals as of 6:30 a.m. today (Friday):
- Norterra: 0.31 inches
- Sonoran Foothills: 0.31 inches
- Tramonto: 0.24 inches
- Desert Hills: 0.28 inches
- Anthem West: 0.31 inches
- Anthem North: 0.35 inches
- New River: 0.35 inches
The forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of rain in North Phoenix today and partly cloudy skies tonight. The high today will be just 62 degrees, with the mercury dipping to 44 by early Saturday morning. Flagstaff has received 6.5 inches of snow so far and is expected to see snow showers through Sunday.
