DVUSD Kindergarten Registration Event Feb. 1
For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.
If your child will be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2018, then it may be time to send him or her out into the big world. Free, full-day kindergarten registration takes place at each of the district’s K-6 and K-8 schools Thursday, Feb. 1, 5:30–7 p.m.
What to Bring
- Child’s original birth certificate or certified copy
- Immunization records
- Proof of residence (utility bill, house payment receipt, rent receipt, escrow document or lease agreement),
- Legal guardian or custody papers if applicable.
- Parent’s ID
Open Enrollment
Parents interested in placing a child in a school out of their school’s attendance boundary can complete an open enrollment application at www.dvusd.org/openenrollment. More information on kindergarten program and registration: www.dvusd.org/kindergarten.
