Lennar to Build Unique Home-Within-a-Home at Circle Mountain

For 15 years, In&Out Magazine has been the definitive source of “Everything that’s going on” in and out of the community. We thank you, our readers, as well as the businesses that support the magazine through advertising, for that opportunity. But with little going on, and many businesses suspending or canceling their ads during the Covid-19 crisis, we are suspending publication of the magazine and web sites for the month of May.

Model home construction is scheduled to begin in January on Anthem’s last new neighborhood. Anthem Circle Mountain, west of I-17, is slated to open mid-April.

Lennar Homes will build on 125 lots; Pulte Homes has 77. Both builders will create a mix of one- and two-story homes ranging from 1,600‒3,500 square feet.

Lennar has two floorplans that include attached but separate living accommodations to suit those caring for another family member or in need of a guest suite or home office, said Lennar spokesperson Martha Moyer Wagoner.

One of these so-called NextGen models, Liberty, is 2,762 square feet, two-stories with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and a two-car garage. The private suite (see panorama below) has its own kitchenette, great room, bedroom and private bath. A Liberty model home can be seen at Discovery at Peak View in Cave Creek.

Pulte’s plans will be similar to those offered at La Solana, at North Valley Parkway and Dove Valley Road, said Phil Turner, VP of land for Pulte. Prices will be in the low-to-mid $300s, Turner said.

The 202 home-development―originally named Circle Mountain Ranch—has officially become Anthem Circle Mountain after Anthem annexed the property, Turner said.
