Kid’s Plea: Drive Safe, Please

I am 13 years old and live in Anthem Parkside and I have noticed many instances of careless driving, especially in the Parkside area. I wanted to bring attention to this because of the serious danger it presents.

I have witnessed drivers overtaking vehicles illegally, running stop signs, and speeding. This poses a great threat to pedestrians, other drivers, and even wildlife.

Last time I checked, Memorial Drive isn’t Memorial International Speedway. More enforcement of traffic laws would be one step to bring down erratic driving. Drivers can do a self-inspection of themselves to see if they really are reckless or distracted while driving.
