Arizona Public Service Company (APS) is the sole provider of municipal electricity service to the entire North Valley along the I-17 corridor and much of the rest of Metro Phoenix. (Other metro-area customers are served by SRP.)

One of Fry’s largest supermarkets, at about 120,000 square feet, this location opened in 2017. The grocery, in the Canyon Crossroads plaza, serves many North Phoenix communities from Tramonto to Norterra.
A full-service grocer in the Anthem Crossroads Plaza has an in-store Starbucks and a wine bar with craft beers. Also offers ClickList service: Order groceries online and pick up at the ClickList parking space where an associate will deliver your order.
Emergency center open 24/7, but not a full-fledged hospital (HonorHealth’s Deer Valley facility is a full-fledged hospital). Provides medical imaging (CT scans, MRIs, mammograms).

The posse is a volunteer organization of citizens serving under the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department. They assist with patrolling neighborhoods and businesses and providing backup for MCSO deputies, among other duties. Law enforcement questions should be directed to MCSO.
The library, sharing space with Boulder Creek High School, serves the communities of New River, Anthem and Desert Hills. It has several computers with Internet access. Teen and youth areas with collections dedicated specifically to them. Programs and events for adults, teens and children are offered regularly. A study room can be reserved up to two weeks in advance.
